The session aims to contribute to discussions at COP31 by exploring how companies can accelerate the green transition while strengthening the resilience of their operations and value chains. Drawing on perspectives from different sectors, the discussion will look at how companies are translating climate ambition into action through decarbonisation, clean energy, circular economy approaches, innovation and investment. At the same time, it will examine how companies are adapting to increasing climate risks and building greater resilience across critical infrastructure and complex value chains. The discussion will highlight key challenges, practical solutions and the enabling conditions needed to support a competitive, low-carbon and climate-resilient economy, including effective policy frameworks, investment and public-private collaboration.
