Businesses have a key role to play in advancing a just transition by aligning climate action with decent work, respect for human and labour rights, and social dialogue. Yet promising approaches often remain isolated rather than becoming standard practice. Co-organized by the ILO, UN Global Compact and OECD, this session will draw on real-world business experiences, explore how international frameworks can guide business action and how governments, employers’ and workers’ organizations can help scale sustainable and inclusive business practices.
