Power systems face missile strikes, extreme heat, wildfires and growing demand that grid development cannot always keep up with. Distributed generation and energy storage are becoming key to supply reliability, while countries on the EU's eastern border prepare to integrate into the EU internal electricity market, and electricity exports to the EU are subject to CBAM from 2026. Speakers will share which projects have been implemented, under what conditions they operate, what they cost and how they pay back as regional markets integrate.
