Large buyers increasingly require suppliers to document emissions, certify their practices and confirm them through independent verification. Most suppliers operate in markets without carbon regulation, verification infrastructure or public funding to build it. Speakers will discuss who bears the cost of proof, how this requirement changes contracts, and when it becomes a trade barrier or a driver of decarbonization.
