Jointly hosted by the Netherlands British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC), United Nations Global Compact and the British Chamber of Commerce in Türkiye, the dinner will bring together a select group of frontrunning C-level business leaders, policymakers, representatives of the scientific community, academic leaders and climate experts from the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Türkiye.

The dinner’s purpose closely reflects the COP31 Presidency’s vision: rebuilding trust through dialogue, strengthening shared responsibility through consensus and turning commitments into action on the ground. Through constructive public–private dialogue, we aim to identify shared priorities, practical solutions and the policy and financing conditions needed to accelerate measurable progress.

Discussions will explore how businesses and governments can work together to advance a just green transition, strengthen resilience and pursue energy security and climate goals as complementary objectives. On this implementation COP, particular attention will be given to translating commitments into concrete projects, mobilising climate finance and ensuring that implementation delivers lasting benefits for communities, society and the planet.
