Pedro Freitas has been Braskem's CFO since April 2016. As such, his responsibilities include the financial health of the company, investor relations, innovation in processes and the motivation of a high performance team. From 2011 to 2016, he was Braskem's Corporate Strategy Officer, responsible for preparing the business plan and for evaluating investment and M&A opportunities. Prior to this, he was a strategy consultant for more than 10 years, having worked in the definition of business and commercial strategies and in the design of organizations in various sectors, including petrochemicals, agribusiness, consumer goods and pharmaceuticals. Pedro has a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo and an MBA from INSEAD.
