Suwatthi Kandiah specializes in gender mainstreaming and workplace inclusion, who is currently serving at one of Sri Lanka’s largest conglomerates, Diesel & Motor Engineering PLC (DIMO) as Assistant Manager – Employer Branding, Diversity & Inclusion. She holds a Bachelor’s in International Business Management, and is well-versed in Sri Lankan labour law and the evolution of sex & gender.

Her work is rooted in driving the company’s employer branding agenda, enhancing women’s leadership, workplace inclusion and diversity. At present she is a member of the UNGC’s gender & diversity working group in Sri Lanka.

Suwatthi is actively involved in advocating for gender equality and she is the Lead Coordinator for Southeast Asian Community Engagements at “Zahara’s Dream Inc”, a USA based social impact organization focused on the empowerment of young women from vulnerable and/or low-income communities around the world.

She is also a passionate vocalist, an enthusiastic traveler and an aspiring humanitarian.
