Theobald joined NBC from Standard Chartered Bank (T) Ltd, where he was heading the Corporate Banking department.

He is a holder of a BSC (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dar Es Salaam, and is a Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA).

He is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Accountants (FCCA). Theobald has more than 21 years of professional banking experience covering
