Farhana Shahnaz is a young development practitioner with an academic background in Economics, Development Studies, International Relations and Marketing. She specializes in strategic communications, youth engagement, civic engagement, and community engagement. She is currently working as a Communications Officer at UNDP for a project focused on PVE (Preventing Violent Extremism) where she coordinates and implements all communications activities of the project. A WHO trained Infodemic Manager and a trained Innovation Facilitator, she is currently pursuing a fellowship implemented by UNOY and Finn Church Aid on preventing violent extremism. Her multidimensional work focusing on sustainable development and youth engagement has been recognized both nationally and internationally.
