Ms. Kumudini Welmillage joined CBL Group in 2017 as the Director - Corporate HR.
She holds a Master of Business Administration degree (General) from the University of Colombo (1999), B.Sc. (Chemistry Special) degree from the University of Colombo (1995) and National Diploma in HRM (2003) from the CIPM. She is also a Qualified Pharmacist (1997).
Prior to current position, she was the Director HR- GSK Sri Lanka and a Board Director – SmithKline Beecham Pvt Limited. She also served as Head of HR, Manager – Employee Relations, Assistant Manager – HR at Suntel Limited, Assistant Manager – HR, Production Executive cum BOM Administrator, Quality Assurance Executive – Reckitt Benckiser and Assistant Lecturer in Chemistry – University of Colombo (1995-1996). She also has been a visiting lecturer in Strategic HR, Professionalism and Organisational ethics for the University of Colombo.
