Jorge Rosillo is an Engineer from the University of California with a MBA degree from INCAE, Costa Rica. He has specialized in Public Private Partnership and Social Responsibility management in different institutions in USA, Chile and Ecuador. Since 2008 he is country manager of Corporacion America and had direct participation on privatization processes in different countries. Since 2011 he is CEO of Aeropuertos Ecológicos de Galápagos, the first ecological airport in the world with several sustainable recognitions such as LEED Gold Certification, first Carbon Neutral Airport in Latin America and Employer of preference by the IDB due to gender equality policies. Since 2020 he was elected as Vicepresident of Global Compact in Ecuador, for his efforts to promote the 17 ODS goals in Ecuador and last year he was invited to join the HeforShe movement as male leader championing to promote equal rights for women in the society.
