Description
Ensuring that the work done by women and men is valued fairly and ending pay discrimination is essential to achieving gender equality and a core component of decent work. However, pay inequality continues to persist and the gender pay gap at about 20 per cent globally remains unacceptably high.
An expert from the International Labour Organization will provide an overview on the topic, followed by a company presentation sharing practical steps of their own journey to ensuring equal pay. This session is organized in an "ask the expert" style including the opportunity to ask live questions to all speakers.
