Progress has been alarmingly slow even though research shows that increasing women’s representation on corporate boards improves business outcomes in multiple ways, ranging from increased revenues and profits to strengthened ESG performances. Making gender equality a priority in the boardroom is not only a numbers’ game around how many board seats are held by women. But it’s also about ensuring that the implementation of a holistic gender equality strategy and action plan is on top of the board’s agenda. This session explores how to make both things happen.
