Carl Tachdjian considers himself a citizen of the world. Originally Armenian, born and lived in Lebanon the first 21 years of his life, then moved to the US (Arizona, Delaware & NYC), Jordan, UAE, Saudi Arabia and back to Lebanon.

Carl obtained his BBA from the American University of Beirut (AUB) in 1997 and got his MBA from Thunderbird, School of Global Management, Arizona-USA in April 2000 where he met his Ecuadorian/American wife. The couple travelled across several countries & had 4 children each born in a different country.

He speaks Armenian, English, French, Arabic and has basic knowledge of Spanish.

Post his graduate studies Carl joined ALICO (part of MetLife today) in 2000 in the US. In 2002, he moved to the Middle East (Jordan & then UAE) working in different roles.
He moved to Saudi Arabia in 2012 as the CEO of MetLife Joint Venture & in 2018 moved back to Lebanon as the GM of MetLife Lebanon.
Carl tirelessly advocates for selfcare and healthy work environment and is passionate in helping others reach their full potential.

Outside work, Carl spends most of his time with his family and always ensures he has enough time dedicated for selfcare and learning. He practices Cross-fit, hiking, yoga, meditation and reading.
