18-year-old student, founder of the TREMENDAS Collaborative Platform that promotes the empowerment of girls, adolescents and young people by inviting them to put their skills and talents at the service of the community to generate social impact. Tremendas works based on the objectives of Sustainable Development of the UN and has 7 areas of action: Environment, Inclusion, Gender, Health and Welfare, Culture, Science / Technology and Education.
In 2018 Julieta was recognized as a young agent of change by Fundación Ashoka. In 2019 she is recognized as a Young Influential Woman by the Community of Influential Women in Chile in the framework of Apec, the same year she is a finalist in the Inspiring Girls International World Cup and is invited to participate in the Cop 25 in Madrid being selected by the United Nations as one of the 4 young Speakers of the High Level Event on Action for Climate Empowerment.
In January 2020 she participated in the Latin American and Caribbean Women's Summit as part of the delegation of UNWOMEN Chile.
In September 2020 she is certified as a Climate Leader in the Climate Reality program directed by Al Gore. In September 2020 she participated in the United Nations World Youth Plenary. In November 2020 she participated in a conversation organized by the She is Foundation and the WOMEN ECONOMIC FORUM LATINOAMERICA, and was part of the panel "Discovering our next Captain Planet" at the Ashoka Changemakers Future Summit. In January 2021, she participated as a speaker at the Congress of the Future. In March 2021 she was one of five panelists presenting at UN Women and EU Geneva's "Driving the change, young women activists for #EqualFuture" event. In March 2021, she was a panelist at the Foro Generación Igualdad México. In April 2021, she was a panelist in an intergenerational panel of ECOSOC.
In July 2021, she was invited by the government of France to participate in the opening ceremony of the Generation Equality Forum in Paris, where she had an intergenerational panel with former U.S. Secretary Hillary Clinton. In September 2021, she was selected from more than 8,000 applicants as one of 11 global fellows of the Girl Rising organization. In October 2021, she is selected by the World Bank, UN Youth Envoy and the Ministero della Transizione Ecologica di Italia as a delegate from Chile to participate in Youth4Climate 2021. In November 2021, she travels to Glasgow to participate in COP26 in high-level panels with international organizations such as UNICEF, Girl Rising, PMNCH and also participates in the 43rd Macaulay Lecture with Christiana Figueres and Nicola Sturgeon. She also hosts the television program broadcast by MEGA tv "El Candidato", interviewing the country's presidential candidates.
In December 2021 she is recognized as one of the 100 most committed Latinos to climate action 2021 by the organization Sachamama, WWF and The Nature Conservancy LATAM. She is also recognized as one of the 100 women leaders of Chile by the group of businesswomen and the newspaper El Mercurio.
