Jamshed M. Kazi possesses over 24 years of diverse field and senior management experience in the thematic areas of gender equality, democratic governance, environmental policy, programme management, public-private partnerships, and development coordination with several UN agencies and the NGO sector based in Europe, East Africa, and South and Southeast Asia. Prior to joining UN Women as Country Representative in Pakistan and currently as the Representative for Indonesia and Liaison to ASEAN, he served as Acting Director of UNDP’s Governance Policy Centre in Oslo, Norway. A national of Bangladesh, Jamshed holds Masters degrees on Public Administration; Development Studies; and Environmental Assessment and Evaluation, respectively, from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and the London School of Economics and Political Science.”
