Gender stereotypes are a major obstacle to women's empowerment and gender equality across the workplace, marketplace, and daily life.  This session will explore how women's career opportunities are influenced by gender stereotypes and what actions should be taken to prevent and eliminate them and their negative impacts, both in private and public spheres. The session will bring to light suggested ways to dismantle harmful gender stereotypes put forth in Cherie Blair Foundation's latest report, "Gender Stereotypes and Their Impact on Women Entrepreneurs".
