Anouk is Head of Social Sustainability at Unilever.

Anouk leads Unilever’s social sustainability work with a focus on Livelihoods and Human Rights. She develops the global strategies to support our long-term ambition of a decent livelihood for people in our value chain, as well as working with global partners and driving advocacy to create the right enabling environment for Unilever to implement its critical social priorities.
Anouk’s career has been driven by her strong belief in the need for a unified global sustainable growth agenda to drive transformational change.
Anouk started her career at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, working in various positions, with a focus on sustainable economic development, private sector investment and human rights.
Anouk joined Unilever in 2012 to support the former CEO in his capacity as a member of the United Nations High Level Panel on Post-2015, tasked with advising on the Sustainable Development Goals.
Anouk has held various positions at Unilever over the past 10 years, including as Director Gender and Director Impact Finance in the Global Sustainability Team.
