Bagdat Mussin is the Chairman of the Board of Kazakhtelecom JSC.
Previously, he served as the Minister of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan from September 2020 to 2024. Before his ministerial role, he was an Advisor to the President of Kazakhstan on digitalization and innovative technologies, and earlier built a career in both the public and private sectors — including leading major corporations and founding IT startups as an entrepreneur.
Throughout his professional journey, Mussin has been closely associated with nationwide digital transformation projects, including the large-scale transition of public services to online platforms.

In addition to his main position, he serves as President of the Sports Programming Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and is a member of the Board of Trustees at Nazarbayev University. Since 2020, he has also been a member of the Commission on Digitalization under the President of Kazakhstan
