Rumi Hagiwara serves as the General Manager for Public Affairs at OMRON Corporation, a Japan-based leading company in the field of factory automation. She is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders including but not limited to public sector and academia with an aim to form a coalition of people who share values and goals with OMRON towards resolving social issues. Rumi started her career in the FUJIFILM Holdings Group where she played managerial roles in marketing, talent development, and sustainability. She has a master’s degree from Keio University in business administration and a bachelor’s degree from Waseda University in history.
