Andrea is a finance and sustainability leader, known for her unique ability to integrate financial and sustainable metrics to drive large-scale sustainable development. She's currently Finance and Sustainability Director at Grupo Herdez, one of Mexico's largest food companies with over 12,000 employees. Under her leadership, Grupo Herdez issued the first sustainability-linked bond in Mexico's food sector and developed a supply chain program with a sustainability label, with a particular focus on financial support for small and medium-sized companies.

Recognized as an SDG Pioneer by the UN, Andrea actively champions the 2030 Agenda and gender equality. Beyond her corporate role, she's involved in incorporating sustainability metrics into venture capital investments and collaborates with various non-profit organizations focused on education and women's empowerment.
